In contingency you needed more proof that the judge system works differently for rich and illustrious folks, here it is: Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 30 days in jail yesterday, but Judge Stephanie Sautner allowed Lindsay some extra week to surrender herself, so that she can complete her photo expel for Playboy.
That's right, she gets to state in language off going to jail so that she be possible to finish taking naked pictures. From a legal standpoint, it makes a bit further sense, as Playboy is a greater publication with deadlines to meet, and Linds would exist in breach of contract if she didn't bestow them ample time to airbrush her freckled extend-marks before the magazine is befitting to hit newsstands. But still, to millions of young, aspiring crack/famewhores, the message is serene: flash your vadge, avoid going to house of correction.
Of course there are worse miscarriages of judge evident here, like the fact that Linds power of determination only serve a small fraction of her 30-generation sentence, but the fact that Lindsay Lohan's coked-exhausted husk of a body serves like some kind of get out of house of correction free card seems to be a singly shining example of why the rest of the nature hates us.
